"Piper! You need help! It's like you don't even care about anything in the future! Your just here in the present. I mean, your almost 18 and you need to stop acting like you are 15."

"Coby, shut up, close my door, and leave. I have had enough of your 'parent talk' with me." I snapped.

"Piper-"

"No, leave! Go away!" I started to tear up.

"Okay, fine. Goodnight." He backed down.

"Shut the door!" I yelled.

I ran my fingers through my dirty blonde hair and sighed. Why couldn't he just leave me alone? Why does he have to know everything and parent me like that? He is so overprotective. I had enough and needed a break so I climbed out of my window and sat on the roof, lighting a cigarette. I gazed up at the stars and took a deep breath, inhaling the smoke. Tomorrow's school. Great. I looked at my phone and it was 12:02 am. I finished my cigarette and climbed back into my room and got into bed.
