The moment we get our papers I feel a tap on my shoulder. "What's the answer to question one?" It's Jack. As usual, he doesn't know what it's about.
"You need a tutor. I won't always be around to tell you the answer."
"Then you should be my tutor."
"What?"
"I'll be your tutor!" The girls sitting next to Jack says.
"No thanks, I already have a tutor." Jack turns her down.
She looks mad and murmurs "stupid, geeky, emo, bitch." Obviously, she means me. I hear it all the time. It doesn't phase. Bullies target me all the time. I'm fine.
"So, Lizzie, want to be my tutor?" Jack asks me.
"Sure." I agree.

Jack Avallone, the hottest guy in school, loved by all the girls in the entire 11th grade. But he doesn't like them. He likes the skater girl. He likes Lizzie. She sits in front of him in American History.
Together, they'll learn about each other and what it's like to be a skater and a pretty boy.
