Fate before Duty

I've never thought of love as inconvenient, you know? In most stories it either starts as this subtle feeling neither party suspects but welcomes once they realize it or its this big loud tumult of emotions that the parties attempt to avoid but cannot. In either case it is always welcomed once conflicts are resolved. For me, I never thought I would love the man who sought to kill my father and take his title, or who would have, quite willingly, raped me to get said title.

See? Inconvenient.
