~"Wow," he manages. "I knew the story about your dad, but I didn't know this still happens." "Every once in a while," I mumble. He takes my hand. "If it happens, just come straight to my house. Even if I'm sleeping."~ Macy Lanche seems to be normal on the outside. The typical senior about to go to college. But on the inside, it's a lot worse. Her mom is an alcohol addict and doesn't always appreciate her. Not to mention the crappy job her mom got her for the summer. One day after work, Macy goes to visit her best friend, Hannah. A new family moved in across the street from Hannah. The eldest boy is about her age and is no doubt cute. Throughout the summer, she learns more about him and same vise versa. Is this just a summer thing, or something more? ***Warning: very cliché (at least I think it is)***
