The Shinigami Dispatch Society gets an unexpected visit from a reaper from another branch... and the reaper's a girl. In fact, she's the only female shinigami (that collects souls) in the dispatch. She's hired immediately, and is placed under Eric Slingby and Alan Humphries' watch.
Soon after Lillian's arrival, Cinematic Records of people off the To-Die list are missing, and a serial killer is reported loose on the streets of London. The killer appears to be human, but is it someone, or something, supernatural? (I do not own any characters from Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji, just my OC's) (ALSO!! Spoilers from the Black Butler Musical 2: The Most Beautiful Death in the World are in this, mainly will be at the end, but still! This is a prequel to the musical, so it SHOULD follow along with the story.)

"Hold me close, don't let go, watch me burn...In this Hospital for Souls." "...the one thing that is absolutely awful about being a reaper is the eyesight problems that come with it, he has decided. Even now, in the sunlight (the accursed sunlight, almost burning through his excuse for a skin), holding the stupid list two inches from his damn face, he is still having difficulty reading the names. "Jarrod Fineman," he murmurs aloud, still squinting at the paper. "Aged twenty five. Died on the 12th of March, 1894; cause of death... butter knife to the heart." His nose wrinkles as he connects the dots; the butter knife with the butler, the butler with the demon, the demon with the earl. It was evident - a business deal gone wrong, which had resulted in Jarrod's rather ignorant move to attempt to shoot Ciel Phantomive. The demon had moved without hesitation; the reaper had watched as he tore the man's throat open, while at the same time skewering him in the chest. Phantomhive looked on, completely unfazed, as the crimson blood pooled on the floor of the magnificent palace that he liked to call a mansion. Afterwards, he cleared his throat, and said to the butler: 'Clean it up. I have other business to attend to." Sebastian Michaelis had bowed dutifully at the waist, his demeanor totally serious. "Yes, my Lord." He had watched as Michaelis so very carefully mopped the floor, almost as if he were in cheerful ignorance about the corpse in front of him. He could not have known about the reaper in the room with him already, with his own strict expression, his wicked scythe in the form of a heavy axe. Watching him, ever moment that had unfolded, whilst judging the dead man secretly. He had already sent him to Hell..."

The third book in the series The Queen's Lion. The Queen's Lion and The Queen's Lion: Disciplined can be found on my page and are needed to understand the premises and plot of this book. Y/N has disappeared without a trace. The closest thing to a clue that was left behind was a single rose in a stolen vase, left on the windowsill of Y/N's room at the Phantomhive manor. With that as their only clue, Ciel Phanthomhive and Sebastian Michaelis must attempt to retrace the young Lady's steps from the night she went missing. To make matters worse, Y/N's underworld title as 'The Queen's Lion' demands she must stay a secret. No one can know that the Queen's most mysterious spy and the Watchdog's closest friend has disappeared, lest the underworld will fall into chaos and polite society will crumble at the Queen's feet. So how will Ciel and Sebastian find Y/N with only a rose to go by? What will she say when she's rescued? Is she even still alive to be rescued? Warning: Mentions of canon typical violence, blood, death, rape, strong language, mugging, various weaponry and degradation through name calling. The reader is NEVER subjected to watch or experience rape though they discover many attempts against other women. I'm not gonna keep putting TW before chapters because I feel like it's starting to spoil the chapters unless something is beyond forked up, unless it is requested to bring them back for whatever reason. I do not own Black Butler's characters/storyline or any other books/movies/shows etc mentioned/referenced in this fic!
