The year is 8 billion and the Sun is dying. The richest of humanity has made its way to the distant Life planet Cerulone, leaving behind billions to die. Fast-evolving alien flora invades local ecosystems, converting acres and acres of land to thorny waste. Cultivation is impossible, and life on Earth is nearly extinct. The last humans on the face of the planet are plagued by a fatal disease, starvation and unquenchable thirst. In the midst of this survives Kun, a part of a band of youths. They fight to live each day, stealing and killing for anything they need as is the way of this world. Little do they know what is coming their way.
