All that Harper Connor has known has been a lie. She has been raised by her sister since she was ten. But little does Harper know that her sister Carla Connor is actually her birth mother. Carla was young when she had Harper and let her mum raise Harper but when her mum got sick. She raised Harper.

Harper followed Carla to the street after living on Devon for a few years. Harper is sixteen and a wild teenage and starts to notice that there is something going on. Carla, Michelle and Johnny are the only ones that are aware that Carla is Harper's real mother. When Jenny learns the truth and reveals it all to Harper it sends Harper out of control and the Connors start to worry.

But when Harper meets David who is struggling with the loss of his wife and being raped Josh they confine in each other. But can they truly fall in love?
