Lafayette has been in about 13 foster homes in his past years of being in the system (I know a lot) he's been In the system since he was 10 he has been abused verbally and physically he's been bullied and teased for being gay so when he is In his new foster home with the governor of New York Mr. Washington and his wife Mrs. Washing and their son Alexander who was also adopted but when he meets one of Alexander's best Friends will there be sparks flying or a simple act put on for pity- this is my first story so yeah it's gonna be bad lol

Alexander Hamilton has not had an easy life. After his parents died, he bounced from foster home to foster home in Nevis, each one giving up on him and claiming that he was "too difficult to deal with." After being thrown out of his seventh foster home, he gets adopted by an American couple named George and Martha Washington. George and Martha are incredibly kind and willing to do anything for Alex, but Alex finds it difficult to trust them. He worries that they will become angry with him and throw him out the way the rest of his foster parents did. He finds himself growing more and more depressed and angry, and nothing the Washingtons do can make him feel better. Alex finds himself desparate for acceptance, and ends up in a tumultuous friendship with none other than John Laurens, a gay boy rebelling against his homophobic parents.
