Humans no longer dominate the Earth. Years ago, monsters revolted, sending the world into an era of fighting. Economies collapsed, nations disbanded, and humans were pushed to the edges of the world just to survive, but there are those who managed to survive in small bands. Amanda is one of those humans. When her small human community is attacked by a band of vampires, she has no choice but to join them to protect her friends. Her plan may have seemed like a good one at the time, but she may find that she is in over her head.

Decades ago, the world came to a halt as humanity knew it. Wars spurred the worldwide deathrates to a new high, businesses closed, and much of the new technology stopped working altogether. The young woman who lived in this town was called Delilah, and this is her story. Please note that this book is a slow-burn. Yes, there is romance. Additionally, I started writing this book while I was fresh out of High School, I am now a junior in college. While the writing was not necessarily bad, it has improved greatly with the more recent chapters.
