Elsinore High has had to worry about whatever Hamlet might be up to ever since he was a freshman. That's nothing new. Things have never, however, been quite like this. When a new principal arrives at the school to take the position that once belonged to Hamlet's father, Hamlet is convinced that certain recent events were no accident. Someone just needs to bring that fact to light, and with just a few short weeks until graduation, that someone may have to be the dangerously in-over-his-head theatre kid.
In other words, it's Hamlet, but told as a late eighties high school story.

Hamlet but it's Better

20 parts Complete

Hamlet is long. And Shakespearean. "Hamlet but it's Better" is shorter and less Shakespearean. Follow Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, as he searches for revenge against King Claudius for the murder of his father in this play with themes of death, life, revenge, guilt, mental health, and relationships. And above all, to thine own self be true. TW: suicide and depression are major themes in this play. Please read at your discretion!
