This was never about Kian.
It was always about asserting myself within my pack.

I had not grown up with the classic Alpha Female traits if anything I looked like I would take the place as the Omega Female. Constantly submitting to my littermates from the beginning made me seem like no threat. I was not born with plan hatched, but I would use my past to my benefit. I would grasp the highest rank - even if it meant challenging the one person I had held dear my entire childhood.

I would take the highest rank and be the one to further our pack's legacy.

____________

In the wolves' hierarchy system, places are acquired by being cunning, having agility, and using power. The Alpha Male and Beta Male positions were rarely challenged, meaning males usually only faced challenges for middle ranks.

In contrast, the female positions were never safe due to the females' competitiveness and the need to have her heat fulfilled. Only the Alphas were insured to be allowed to produce more offspring. The rest of the pack being allowed to bred depended on the conditions of the environment - including the number of prey.

The need to pass on your genes leads to the climb for the top position. A mountain which has a steep climb and threatening fall.

[ Highest Rank: #71 in Werewolf ] His face, still, nearly inches away from mine. The deep, blue eyes that would pierce my dreams from now on. And his light brown hair, that seemed to be the perfect mixture of blonde and brunette. But what really hit me, was his face. God, his gorgeous face. Let's not forget the amazing jawline this boy has also. Stunning. "What's your name sweetheart?" his voice was husky. God, I loved it. "Marlee." I simply stated in a quiet voice. "Last name?" he asked. "Arctic." I answered. He smirked at the mention of my last name. Of course he did. He's the most powerful alpha in America right now, and he just ran into me. The daughter of the second most powerful alpha. And to top it all off, I'm his and he is mine. Mates. "What's your name?" I asked "Damon is my name sweetheart." he replied "Last name?" I asked. But I didn't need him to tell me. I already knew. Might as well have him tell me his full name though. He just kept his smirk on his face the entire time. "Wilde." ※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※ Marlee Arctic is the daughter of the second strongest alpha in America. Other than being trained like the son of an alpha, her life has been pretty normal. She never had any stress on her during school, no major heartbreaks, and no bullies at school. Yup, Marlee's life was almost perfect. But nothing can last forever. Enter Damon Wilde. At 21, he's the youngest alpha in America. He also happens to be the strongest. But, things are starting to change. And he needs his Luna. His mate. Things were okay in his life. Not the best life but not the worst either. That is, until Marlee entered it. From their first meeting, their lives are turned upside down. And just like Damon's last name, things are about to get pretty wild for them.

Cover by @Miss_Sarcastic27 (I'm currently rewriting this book, but I am keeping the original version up until I finish the new version for anyone who wants to read it. Please keep in mind that I had no writing experience when I first wrote this and that I am aware that it is not very well written. I'm working on it. I personally did not like how it turned out in terms of plot, characters, and other factors that I won't go into right now, and I'm working on bettering the entire book. When I first wrote this, I didn't expect for it to gain as much attention as it has, and I'm so, so, so grateful for the attention that it has gotten, but it was mainly for fun and to better my writing skills. Thank you all for reading this message and for understanding!) Rayna isn't a normal werewolf. She was born a sacred wolf: a wolf with white fur, stronger senses, and powers. Some might say that she is has a gift from the Moon goddess herself. When Rayna meets her mate: the most feared alpha on the earth, everything goes downhill from there. Read on as Rayna faces situations that no one else should face. Re-posting. The common story is that finding a mate is supposed to make the wolf stronger. For an alpha, finding his mate, blessed by the moon goddess, strengthens the pack. But there can be such darkness hidden in that dynamic. Even those of cruel hearts can seek the power of a mate. And the damage they cause might not ever be healed. ***** Prologue: Drip. Drip. Drip. The rhythm or the water would have been soothing if it hadn't been so cruel. Drip. As it was, it was nothing more than a taunting form of torture. Drip. Ears could hear the soft thudding of raindrops at the end of the hall as a door was pulled open in squeaking protests and then shut with a harsh metallic clang. How the rain made its way into the depths of the cement room, it didn't matter. It was there. Drip. Step. Drip. Step. The footsteps were strong and full of purpose. Though just as unwanted as the drops of water that fell too far out of reach. Unable to quench the dehydrated desperation chained to the wall. Drip. Step. Drip. Step. Only one set of footsteps. There was no question of the destination or purpose that carried them down the hall. Not that it was a surprise. It was always the same. First the pain, then the visit. The cell door opened to darkness. There was no energy to move, not even enough to will eyelids to open. Not that it mattered. The visit never changed. What more could be said? What more could be done? All that mattered was that stale, barely edible food was only given after he was done. Only then, could there be any comfort from hell. ***** WARNING- This story does delve into topics of kidnapping, imprisonment, rape, murder, and violence. Though the scenes are not explicitly detailed, underage readers are discouraged. Also note that I do not own the rights to any photos I have or might post for this story. Just photos I found online, cropped and edited. The story however, is all mine. No copy of content is permitted.

/Highest Ranking : #746 in werewolf 5-26-17 / Started: May 2017 / Ended: December 2017 "I can't," was my reply. "I just.... I c-can't." His concern soon flooded to complete outrage. I was practically rejecting him for reasons unknown to him, and for an Alpha, he'd never accept this. "Why can't you?! Since when have I ever done something to prove I didn't care about you just now?!" I looked down in shame. Sarah was keeping a fierce stance, though. She knew that we had to save our rogue friends, and that we weren't really rejecting Ty. If we wanted to really reject him, we would've done so already. I think he kind of knew it too, but he was mad nonetheless. "Look Ty, I'm sorry I can't tell you. But I really can't be here right now. Maybe someday this will work. But I'm not selfish enough to give up something I care for." ... Alicia Gray, the daughter of one of the highest ranking members in the Blood Moon Pack, was set up to be a brat. Spoiled rotten from the start, she couldn't change the path she was headed on. When her pack is attacked by rogues, however, her life turns around. She becomes the person she has always strived to be - the complete opposite of a brat. After successfully escaping the clutches of her captors, she finally is able to return home. But is her version of home the same as when she left? Or will she unlock a whirlwind of mysteries coming back? ... This is a parallel series to Wanted by the Wolves!
