I had first regarded it a prank. A wrong number. A mistake.
But the calls wouldn't stop. He was bothering me, disturbing me-- as though I was a selected target.
As the harassment escalated, I began to imagine things. I feared every corner, was scared of the dark, began to hallucinate things which weren't real.
Why? Why me? Why was this man calling me? Who was he?
I had suspicions. The possibilities were endless. There was nothing anybody could do. He wouldn't stop-- so I had to take things into my own hands.
~*~
He tracked me down. He plotted to execute me. I managed to escape into the woods and beyond. I discovered his hideout, his base and his scheme. I could expose him. I could reveal his identity to the world, and he would surrender.
But I made a mistake. I couldn't change my fate.

Looking forward to a fresh start in a great neighborhood and close community, you make yourself at home in your new place. Not even one week after arriving, something strange happens upon returning home from work. You discover a small brown package in your mail, with neither sender nor recipient stated on it. After unwrapping the paper, a grey booklet is revealed, imprinted with the questionable title "Blighton Citizen Guidebook". Flipping through the pages, you quickly come to the conclusion that either this package has been delivered to the wrong person, or someone is playing a lousy prank on you. Is this supposed to scare you? Without giving it a second thought you toss the booklet aside, paying it no mind for a couple of days. But somehow you can't bring yourself to disregard it entirely. Something about the whole thing does not feel right to you. It seems way to elaborate for a simple joke. Why would someone go through the effort of compiling a bunch of ghost stories, just to trick some random newcomer? Eventually, your curiosity gets the better of you and the booklet finds itself in your hands once again. With a sigh you sit down at your table and open this supposed "guidebook". "CHARLIE!" His screams were getting closer until I saw him completely. I grabbed the knife and pointed it straight at him. "Get away from me!" I say warning him His face was red and he still stalked towards me slowly. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" I yell fearing the fact that didn't look scared at all. "Put the knife down." I started to back up a bit still pointing the knife at him. "I'm not telling you again, put it down NOW!" His calm persona was instantly replaced with a furious one. "Please Tho-" He came charging straight at me but I made a run for it. I ran as fast as I could with him behind me until he tackled me to the floor. The knife flew across the hallway and he was on top of me. "Thomas please let me go. I don't want to be here. Please." I say begging "You're ruining everything. It was so perfect and special just for you and you're ruining it." I can tell he was sad but more pissed off this anything. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING AND THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME!" He screamed in my face. "I-" "SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH!" He roars slapping me across the face. He roughly picks me up and drags me to the room. He yanked me away from him making me fall hit my knee on the hard wood floor. He walked in the bathroom to get something and I realized it something to put me to sleep. He poured the chemical into the towel as he mumbled to himself and I watched in fear. He pulled me from the ground and tried to make me breathe in. I fought the urge to. I thrashed back and forth trying to get free but nothing worked. Slowly, my vision got blurry and felt darkness overtake me.

She felt it before she saw it-the prickle of eyes on her skin, the unsettling sensation of being watched, even in a crowd. The feeling had started months ago, subtle at first, just a hint of unease that she brushed aside as paranoia. But as days turned into weeks, the sensation grew more intense, more insistent, like a shadow that followed her everywhere. Her friends called her dramatic, her mother worried she was overworking herself. But she knew better. It wasn't just her imagination. He was always there-just out of sight, lurking in the edges of her world, a dark figure woven into the fabric of her life. She caught glimpses of him in reflections, a fleeting silhouette in the corner of her vision. She could feel his presence, a heavy weight pressing on her chest, tightening her breath. He watched her with a hunger that burned in his eyes, an obsession that consumed him. She didn't know his name, didn't know his face, but she could feel the intensity of his gaze even when she was alone. It was a strange sensation, knowing someone wanted her so badly it bordered on madness. Her every move was marked, every breath counted. She was no longer living in a city, but in a cage-a cage he had built, without bars or locks, yet impossible to escape. He had chosen her, marked her as his own, and now there was no turning back. She's his obsession, and he's her obsessive stalker. What she didn't know was why. Why her? Why now? And what would he do if she tried to run? The answer was simple-he would never let her go
