I had first regarded it a prank. A wrong number. A mistake.
But the calls wouldn't stop. He was bothering me, disturbing me-- as though I was a selected target.
As the harassment escalated, I began to imagine things. I feared every corner, was scared of the dark, began to hallucinate things which weren't real.
Why? Why me? Why was this man calling me? Who was he?
I had suspicions. The possibilities were endless. There was nothing anybody could do. He wouldn't stop-- so I had to take things into my own hands.
~*~
He tracked me down. He plotted to execute me. I managed to escape into the woods and beyond. I discovered his hideout, his base and his scheme. I could expose him. I could reveal his identity to the world, and he would surrender.
But I made a mistake. I couldn't change my fate.

Suddenly awaking me from my drowsy state, my phone started ringing. There was an 'unknown' caller ID. Hesitantly, I picked it up. "Hello?" There was heavy breathing on the other end. Oh no. Please tell me this isn't happening. "Seriously. Who is this? Is this some sort of prank call?" I desperately wanted to believe that yes, Noah and Robin were prank calling me and laughing their asses off as they passed the phone back and forth. But deep down I knew this time, I was wrong. There was more heavy breathing and I almost hung up but there was just something inside of me willing me to stay on the line. I heard some muffled voices on the other end before a gruff voice spoke three short words "We have her." Meet Drew. Shy. Reserved. Intelligent. His life was turned upside down when he walked into a record shop and came face to face with the love of his life. But how far is he willing to go to ensure her safety? *please note that this is my first story on wattpad* this book has themes of depression and anxiety, so if you get triggered easily i suggest you don't read this. cover made by @newtellashadowhunter All rights reserved. ⚠️ MATURE⚠️ This story contains strong use of language and mature scenes. If you are offended easily do not read. •.• I snuggled into the comfortable warmth of the fluffy pillow as I was eager to go back to sleep. The fan lullabied me into a hazy state. Suddenly, a heavy weight landed on my waist, pulling me from the tired daze. I leaned up in shock as my hands flung forward defensively to push whoever was on me off. With a strong force, my shoulders were shoved backwards and into the mattress. Grunts of struggle filled the room as we fought each other. The offender grabbed my wrists and held them firmly above my head with one strong hand. Sobs of terror escaped from my chest as a thumb caressed my cheek to wipe away the spilled tears. "P-please let go of me," I begged, trembling. "You are so beautiful." A man's voice spoke, his large hand leaving my face and traveling down my body to squeeze my pelvic region. "Stop." I screeched, my demand ricocheting between the four bedroom walls. The man growled darkly. "If you scream again, I will kill you." I nodded keenly in response to show that I would not challenge his threat. His hand slowly freed my mouth, testing if I would disobey him. He reached into his pocket. A knife, zip tie, and a rag were all revealed. The view made me realize that this could be my last chance to get help. If I did not call out right now, he would take me. I would not make it out alive either way. I let out a bloodcurdling scream loud enough to wake up the whole neighborhood.

He was her rock, her best friend, her first love. He became her worst nightmare, her tormentor, her captor She was his everything. His obsession. Their story should have ended with that court case, but he's found a way back to her, and he won't give her another opportunity to escape. Not this time. ------------------------------------------- Shivering, I sobbed out, unable to speak, unable to move. "Shh, shh, now baby-girl, it's alright, you're safe, don't cry" he soothed, moving closer to me. "N-Noah, I w-want to go home," I sobbed, feeling weak from my inability to talk without stuttering. A gasp left my parted lips as his hand forcefully connected with my cheek, "You are home, so I don't want to hear that crap from you, okay?" shaking, I looked down at my feet, his gaze too menacing to hold. "I said, do you understand" he spit through clenched teeth, "y-yes, I'm sorry" I whispered, a new wave of tears making their appearance. "Good girl, now I need you to keep being a good girl, okay?" nodding, my eyes met his dark ones. His form towered over me, making me feel small and irrelevant. "Words, Embry!" He demanded as I stuttered out a quiet yes. I studied him cautiously as he walked towards the far end of the room, shuffling through drawers before stalking back towards me and crouching down. I sucked in a breath as I saw the knife in his hand, his face held a mischievous grin as it glinted in the light. "Now baby-girl, you see, as much as I hate to, you need to be punished, do you know why?" Warning! This story is for mature audience, it contains strong language, abuse, mature themes and sensitive topics. Please enjoy, -Aphrodite.

Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

She felt it before she saw it-the prickle of eyes on her skin, the unsettling sensation of being watched, even in a crowd. The feeling had started months ago, subtle at first, just a hint of unease that she brushed aside as paranoia. But as days turned into weeks, the sensation grew more intense, more insistent, like a shadow that followed her everywhere. Her friends called her dramatic, her mother worried she was overworking herself. But she knew better. It wasn't just her imagination. He was always there-just out of sight, lurking in the edges of her world, a dark figure woven into the fabric of her life. She caught glimpses of him in reflections, a fleeting silhouette in the corner of her vision. She could feel his presence, a heavy weight pressing on her chest, tightening her breath. He watched her with a hunger that burned in his eyes, an obsession that consumed him. She didn't know his name, didn't know his face, but she could feel the intensity of his gaze even when she was alone. It was a strange sensation, knowing someone wanted her so badly it bordered on madness. Her every move was marked, every breath counted. She was no longer living in a city, but in a cage-a cage he had built, without bars or locks, yet impossible to escape. He had chosen her, marked her as his own, and now there was no turning back. She's his obsession, and he's her obsessive stalker. What she didn't know was why. Why her? Why now? And what would he do if she tried to run? The answer was simple-he would never let her go
