This story is dedicated to one of my closest friends, Alex.
-Alex, I hope you enjoy this. ((@verdec))
(This is an inside joke for my friend! Not a real story.)
"And in this moment, she laid her head against my chest as her sobs echoed through the room, I did my best to comfort her. I ran my fingertips through her fawn, soft hair and slowly caressed her cheek. I felt electricity slip through my fingertips as I lifted her chin up. Her crystal tears slowly poured down, and she instinctively grabbed my arms to wrap around her and pulled me closer. I could hear her irregular heartbeat as her breathing was shortened. I felt my own heartbeat pulsing through my ears. With every sound and every beat, it was like our hearts were in synch, like a beautiful melody I will never get tired of hearing. With its sudden but beautiful crescendos, or the soft falling of the line, I knew at this moment, I wanted this melodic, harmonious song to play forever. I wanted to look into her beautiful hazel eyes which were freshly glistened with tears, and tell her how much she means to me. That she was my world, stars, and galaxies. That every time Im with her, she's the only one who can make me smile till days end. That her voice, her lips, her touch, everything about her, was home. She was my heaven, and God, forgive me, but I'd give my life for her...
But she could never be mine. She was his. He was the one who made her eyes light up everytime he was there. He was the one who was able to effortlessly get that melodic laugh. He was the first and last to savor her sweet lips. She was always his. I could never be that.
I can only be by her side..."
