Balance

When fifteen-year-old Eleanor died as a famed actress's shut-in daughter, it didn't create the ripple in the world she had hoped. Over sixty years later, she has grown accustomed to the cozy lifestyle of a soul-gatherer for the beings who rule over matters of life and death. Her security is rattled when a mortal boy communicates with her, and even more so when a fellow gatherer makes a dark deal in exchange for new life.
