Thirteen years old Sulie Yamamoto was very unsure of her abilities to play sports and was reluctant to join the Junior High Girl's Volleyball team. However, under the persuasion of her best friend, Fuyuko Matsui, she finally decided to participate in the team since she didn't have any clubs to join other than this. Through this exciting chronicles about the team's accomplishments and difficulties they had to endure, Sulie and Fuyuko learned not just about techniques in volleyball, but also teamwork and cooperation between the teammates. "We're goin' down!" one of the guys on the bench muses. The hall is making his last word echo. Damn, Suga said he wanted them to qualify this year. They're going down in an earlier round.
