When Allison Williams, one of the most regular students at college, fails to attend a complete week of classes without any form of contact with anyone, Andrew Moore, one of her classmates decides to investigate, only to find out that Allison's twin sister Audrey, too has been absent for the past week.
Turns out, the twins have been caught up in an investigation regarding their parents, who have been missing for the past seven days.
It becomes further complicated, when strange things are discovered in their parent's office.

When their new AI reaches its final stages of development, old conflicts, grudges and some old-fashioned fear of 'robots', together results in the mysterious disappearance of the power couple.
When the police refuse to believe that Veronica and Viktor are 'kidnapped' or in any kind of danger, as the two have a very frequent habit of disappearing for months, only to return with new designs and developments, it is now up to their 18-year-old children and friends along with an 'unexpected teammate' to get to the bottom of the truth behind their disappearance.

Cliché with a twist...well at least I hope so.
