This book will be based on the events, ideas, and timeline of the video game FF IV.
It will take place at the same time as the game, but for the most part separate to what is happening with the game characters (maybe a few exceptions)
The main character as well as POV will be a character made by me!
The start of the book will take place at the point where *Spoiler* Cecil and Kain slay the mist Eidolon and set fire to the Mist village, and Cecil rescues Rydia.
DONT WORRY IF YOU DONT PLAY FF YOU WILL STILL UNDERSTAND!!
Augments will work differently in my story however, for they will be abilities that can be practiced and learned, though they will be difficult.
So now the story part:
So my character, Quinn, is Rydia's younger brother, he was held secretly from Rydia with another family on the Mist village. The day it was burned, Quinn being a year younger then Rydia, was also a survivor of the flames, though unknown to Rydia and Cecil. Quinn was very opposite to Rydia, Rydia was more adept at black magic, as most summomers are, but Quinn struggled with black magic, only able to learn select spells, where as he found his strength within White magic, a trait most summoners grow out of. So while the other kida were practicing Fire and Thunder together, Quinn was alone practicing Cure, thus keeping him hidden, but also outcasted. After the fire that burned the Mist village, Quinn fled, finding his way to Mysidia, where he learned to practice his magic, though he presumed that he would live his life there, he soon found out that his sister wasnt the only one whos wheels of fate were turning....
Dragonwall's queen no longer remembers who she is. Her magic is locked away at the hands of an evil sorcerer. Kane hoped to deal the drengr monarchy a heavy blow. He sent its queen away as bait, counting on King Talon to go after her. After all, what is a king without his queen?
