This is pretty much a fanfic on law and order svu and bensidy fanfic :p (Crazy fangirl lol) it does get a little mature later on ;p preview- "Finally, the day was over. I walked out from the precinct and looked around for traffic. It was way more quiet than usual. I decided to skip hailing a taxi and walk home today. I had plenty of time before me and Brian's date. My phone buzzed, and I looked at the text Brian sent me. Brian: Hey babe, be ready for our date @ 8? I began typing To Brian: Yeah I will. I'm walking home right now. Gtg. Bye.. I responded. I loved him. Tonight's the night I tell him that. My heart started to get butterflies at the thought of getting to spend some time with him with no work interfering with it. ". He gives her lifts to school for the last few weeks then as he realises he loves her he calls into his partners hotel room as she is in town to only find that she has found someone else and has started again with them. He breaks it off fuming then goes to find the new love of his life and asks her to be his girlfriend. She agrees and then they live their lives freely with his kids and maybe another little one. I don't endulge in romance like this it's just fun to write. This is also a slow burn. If you're impatient and want character development fast this book isn't for you. I want to keep this story as realistic as possible and people changing their ways overnight isn't. I also just love books where not everything is sped through and you really get to know the characters and their habits.
