TLJ SPOILERS 

Kylo Ren is the Supreme Leader and is overseeing the construction of the 3rd Death Star at the same time the resistance is quickly rebuilding itself and Rey is becoming a more powerful Jedi. Whilst on a mission Kylo Ren crash lands near the resistance base only to find the one and only Rey. Will balance finally be brought to the force? Or will the war drive Rey and Kylo Ren to destroy each other?

I normally write about the Captain Swan ship or dabble in a little Harry Potter, I've thought about this before, and now have some inspiration. After watching The Force Awakens, I thought Kylo Ren and Rey would either end up being related or it would be a star-crossed lovers kind of thing. After watching The Last Jedi I can definitely see things going in a romantic direction with them. Let's face it, is it really a relationship if you haven't tried to kill each other at least once? After all, Emma held a knife to Hook's throat and tied him to a tree, and then there was a sword fight and she knocked him out. So here's my first go at a story based on what I recently learned is a ship called Reylo!

Immediately following the events of The Last Jedi, the battle for the galaxy continues between the First Order and the last of the Resistance. As the new Supreme Leader takes the throne, the First Order is focused on finding and destroying all who oppose them. The Resistance had disappeared into hiding and desperation has forced them to explore the gray areas of war. Meanwhile, on opposite sides of the war, Rey and Kylo Ren are forced to face the realities of their bond, their complicated relationship, their loyalty to their causes, and their understanding of the Force. This Reylo Fanfic mainly concentrates on the relationship between Rey and Kylo Ren. Both Ren and Rey share a link, a bond that ties them together. Both discover that, while they sleep, they are sharing their dreams with the other. Will they overcome their hatred of one another? Will Rey turn to the dark-side, or will Kylo Ren once more discover Ben Solo and the light-side of The Force? Where will this lead? This is my first fanfiction- so please be kind :).
