"The course of true love never did run smooth" ~William Shakespeare

17-year-old Taylor Carr had unfortunatly never been able to relate. And she certainly was not planning to. No boy interested her and it only infuriated her more when people talked about how 'super sexy' the 'popular' people were. Popular people meaning Silver Johnson - the king of the school- and his clique of desperate-for-attention boys.
To make things even worse, her best friend Mae Summers was very much in that category. The moral of this story?
Bad-ass girls never get along with the high-school jocks. Especially if their name was Silver Johnson.
