After a run in with the police, Sho finds himself shipped out of the city to spend time with Grandfather in Hokkaido. There Sho is transported back in time as he leaves modern conveniences behind for the slower pace of country living. It is also here Sho meets Lady Hichou, a noble woman who barricades herself in her dilapidated mansion. 
One of them dwells on the past, the other wallows in her empty tomorrows. What will happen when they begin to share their future?
