"Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?" My breath hitches for a moment as he continues speaking... trigger warning: depiction of bullying, anxiety and self harm

I'm not sure how to start this; to be honest, I'm not even sure how to write this. If there's one place we can start, my brain, the most fragile yet sacred thing I've ever owned. Again, I'm unsure how or where to start with this, but let's start by being honest. I think a lot, and I'm sure you do too, so let's think together. (this is an original piece)

(COMPLETED) I am Lonnie. I mentioned this, but my name is considerably confusing. A pair, both each other but neither. If I am the sunrise, how am I Lonnie all the same? I suppose I will indulge you to one lovely secret: I am always both. _______________________________________ Lonnie is just like any other person. Throughout this novel, they recall past events, putting each puzzle piece into place until the final image is revealed. While they are trying to make sense of the trauma they have been though, Lonnie meets new people along the way that shape them in both positive and negative ways. This inspiring story draws parallels between modern conflicts in society, and internal battles that we face in our lives. Join Lonnie as they discover who they are, and inevitably make peace with it. *Warning* This book makes references to grief, depression, and anxiety. "There's a blaze of light in every word, it doesn't matter which you heard: the holy or the broken, 'Hallelujah.'"- Leonard Cohen The poems in this series center on two characters: I, the speaker, and You, the speaker's subject. I is not a specific gender or orientation. I is meant to mold to the reader's idea of who they would be. We follow I in not only a love story, one where love blossoms and lingers until its destruction, but a tale of self-discovery, where, after a long and arduous quest for it, I finally finds happiness.
