//A mirror, a reflection of oneself, displays for you the parts of yourself you detest the most, while at the same time presenting you with the most beautiful aspects of yourself. What then, if your mirror is a person? Someone who can see through you, who knows what you've been through because they too have gone through it themself? Centuries of pain and torment did not set a sturdy basis for companionship to blossom, but sometimes love ends up being the only thing that can paint over the scars we've been given. An over-the-top showy actress was the last place Wanderer was expecting to find solace in, and a bitter puppet was not the type of individual Furina would even see herself wanting to spend time around, but fate was a curious thing, boundless and unforeseen. Sometimes a mirror is needed to find what your place in this world truly is.// Scararina fanfic(?) or whatever their ship name is. I know that this is kind of a out-there ship but I love the potential that their dynamic could have and wanted to write about that. The city of Fontaine continued to thrive below, its people moving forward. But Furina remained frozen, trapped in a past that no longer existed. Neuvillette, however, did not pity her. "You have carried this burden alone for centuries," he said quietly. "It is only natural to feel unmoored now that it has been lifted." She scoffed lightly, though there was no real malice in it. "That's just a polite way of saying I'm lost, isn't it?" A faint smile ghosted Neuvillette's lips. "Perhaps." Furina exhaled sharply, shaking her head. "I want to leave," she murmured. "Start fresh. Find a new home." She let out a humorless chuckle. "I have money, at least. Being an Archon paid well." Neuvillette did not disagree. "...But I don't know where to go," she admitted. "Or who I'm supposed to be." A quiet pause. Then- "You do not have to decide everything now." Furina turned slightly, looking up at him. "The people of Fontaine do not hate you," Neuvillette continued. "You may not see it yet, but you are still a part of this nation."

I am currently rewriting this, but feel free to give this draft a read :D Shadow's world is turned upside down when she found out her grandmother died. Her grandmother was like her second parent, a replacement for her dad who died before she was born. But then, on one fateful day, Shadow brings home a mirror and a storybook home from her grandmother's house, after she found a hidden note telling her to take it. After her grandmother's funeral, Shadow trips and falls into the mirror, taking her best friend, Alex, along with her. Now they find themselves in a new universe called Euphoria, in a kingdom known as Abesa. Shadow and Alex find they are apart of an old legend of Abesa and that they were destined to come there and save it from swirling into the darkness. Nothing will ever be the same.
