Siren Song

For Paige Montgomery, the summer was supposed to be simple; go to the beach, hang out with her friends, and have a good time. That all came to a halt when her parents sent to her and her twin brother summer school. The moment Paige arrives at her new school in Lake Spirit, New Zealand, she knows that this is is no ordinary place.

Finding out that her brother is an elf and meeting all the creatures she had grown up reading takes quite a turn on Paige. She starts to wonder who she might be. Seeking answers from a mysterious boy from school, she realizes that she is a rare spirit; a siren.

"Wait, summer school?" I stared at my mom in disbelief. "And Dad agreed to this?!"
She sighed. "Yes... your father and I agree that this is for the best. Your brother will be accompanying you as well."
"Alastor, too?" I couldn't believe this. I had planned out my entire summer and what did this end up coming to? Me and brother would be going to summer school.
My life was officially over.
