Andrew Anderson is a 17 year old boy who reads too many books and gets in the way of too many bullies, foiling their plans with idiotic bravery.
Having an alliterative name, he knows he's destined for greatness, since every famous main character has an alliterative name, right?
Then, Andrew meets Adrien, a boy with the most beautiful blue-grey eyes he's ever seen. Not that Andrew's seen a lot of people with blue-grey eyes, but you get my point.
But after Andrew and Adrien get in an accident, Andrew wakes up from the hospital... different. Even more than before.
Now packed with superpowers, Andrew is more convinced than ever that he must save the nerds from bullies and the cats from their tendency to climb trees that they can't climb down from.
But the true villain might be a lot closer to him than Andrew thinks...

Everything, and i mean EVERYTHING changes...His hair has had a blue shine to it since he was born, and when he turns 16, its all explained... --------------------------------------------------- A little sneak peek of the first bit: "Wake up birthday boy!" "Alright mom!" I stood up and got to the bathroom, to change. Half awake, I looked in the mirror and put my lotion on. As normally I was staring at my black hair, that has a wierd blue kind of hue to it. I don't know why. As my brain began to function more...i noticed new features... "Mom?! Mom?!" "Yes, Andreas?" "Can you come look? There is something wierd happening to me..." My mom ran into the bathroom... "Oh shit..Andreas, can you turn the tap on and focus on the water real good?" "Uh, okay.." The water began floating to me. "It's too early...it should have happened when you were 18... --------------------------------------------------- Andreas is just a simple guy. Well, if you call living in a GIGANTIC house normal. But everything changes when he turns 16. Foreboding dreams and his new old crush aren't helping it either. And especially when he turns out to be the Goddess Iavanna's son... Oh, and let's not forget meeting your long lost siblings and other magical people and creatures. All that while you have to fight monsters that come from another dimension, of which the portal is just barely a mile away in the forest behind your house. And your crush being capable of exploding the universe with a snap of his finger, if he gets his full powers. Seems like your life is very simple, Andreas. Or is it?

Contrary to popular belief, hell really does exist on earth. More specifically, it exists in the American public high school system. If you aren't one of the cool or popular kids, then tough luck, because your life is about to take a nosedive down shit lane. Elliot Grey, your classic gifted-program, all A's nerd, knows that all too well. Between trying to keep his grades up and avoid getting his head smashed in a locker, he doesn't have time to stop, slow down, and enjoy his senior year of highschool. But after a lucky group assignment for his literature class gets him working with one of the hottest boys in school- who just so happens to also be the boy he's had the biggest crush he's had for the past four years- things actually seem to be looking up for him. Being buddy buddy with one of the cool kids, though, has its consequences, and soon Elliot will have to decide just how desperate he is to win over the school's star quarterback.
