Surrealism was a movement that started in the 1920s, and can be seen in artwork and literature. Surrealism consists of images or descriptions that seem as if they would belong in a dream. The idea of surrealism writing is to write straight from the mind to the paper... or screen. Any idea that comes to mind is put down. Through this method, the author is taking ideas straight from their conscience and making them into stories that are dreamy, unreal, or even disturbing.

Beneath The Light of a Dying Star
In these pages, the world is both light and heavy-sometimes in the same breath. This is a catch-call collection of my own poetry, prose and/or lyrics that I've accumulated over the years that I related to and enjoyed writing and re-writing. Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. This Is My Exodus
A world of second chances. A woman who can't remember why she needs one. What could go wrong? Chalala Soria has faced death already, and now she is facing eternity stuck in Freta with Xalei, a bunny-like creature she can't stand. The only way to escape this fate is by collecting globules. The issue? None of the cursed creatures guarding the globules seem to want her to get them. Entertainment, Ideas, and Random Stories!!!
BORED? Check this out! Not only does this include totally random, funny, short stories that make no sense it also includes jokes, riddles, things to do when you're bored, movie/book/YouTube recommendations to keep you entertained/laughing and SO MUCH MORE. The short stories were written out of boredom for fun and to entertain others :). Each short story jumps from one idea to the next every sentence, not really sticking on topic, but it's still like a journey for the character. Hopefully it makes someone's day or gives them an idea. The Novel
Plot: The plot focuses on an unnamed depressed apathetic writer experiencing writer's block. After the success of his critically acclaimed debut novel, The Novel, he runs out of ideas to write for another masterpiece. He goes on a journey, even having to do things he wouldn't normally do just for the sake of getting ideas, just to reclaim his lost creativity, and he also reflects his experiences in life and love. The novel is part satire, part philosophical, due to its existentialist blend inspired from the works of Camus, Sartre, Dostoyevsky, and Kafka with a mix of my trademarks—surreal and dark humor, violence, parody, satirical commentary, horror and shock value, depression, and nihilism. Madness
Mind is a wonderful thing.. it's something that makes us-humans, different from one another. We all have a nose,a mouth, two hands, two feet, two eyes, one head-it's the mind inside that head that makes a difference. It's the mind that decides our character, it decides our actions, it defines our life,it's our mind that makes us love or hate something or someone. People aren't all bad or all good.. they have a touch of both but it's the mind that tricks us into loving or hating a person. Most of the times we don't actually love a person, we love the image of the person that our mind creates based on our memories with that person & same goes for the hate as well, we have bad memories with a person, we have a bad image of the person which leads to us hating that particular individual. We don't see people for who they actually are, we don't see the world for what it actually is, we merely see the image of it that our mind has created, the world for us is nothing more than an illusion. Our own personal illusion.. What's funny is that no one's ever going to know your illusion-your world as it is for you.. Despite all of the brilliant illusions that our mind creates, mind itself is the greatest creation of the mother nature. Without mind-this great tool, there would've been no cell phones, no television, no books, no music, no love, no hate, no life. nothing! But in reality, the mind is but a twisted yarn of madness. Yet every mind is great in itself. And didn't they say..? "No great mind has ever existed without a touch of madness" -with love, Harika
Lavender Mist
Fourteen years old Maggie is faced with a challenge she dreaded during her entire childhood: she must forget about her imaginary friend Pablo, who is, however, not ready to leave. After she closes him inside of an abandoned theatre and tries to connect with her classmates in school, a series of surreal events puts her and those close to her in a struggle and causes her to question if the line between reality and imagination is fading.
