More Than This (A Niall Horan Fanfiction)

Ashling Reid is, for the most part, living the normal life of a teenage girl. She likes to think she's normal, anyway. She lives with her mom and her five year old brother, Bradan. She's got a best friend, Cassidy Smith. She's totally normal. She might stick out a little bit; she doesn't dress like everybody else, or listen to the same music as everybody else, or do the same things as everybody else and she might have this stupid accent that seems to grab everyone's attention.

Alright, maybe she's a little foreign. Who cares?

Oh right. Everybody. Especially since a new boy band has seemed to pop up: One Direction. And one of those boys happens to be Irish, just like her, and so now she constantly seems to be compared to this kid. Even Cassidy has to remind her all the time that, oh my gosh Ash, you sound JUST LIKE Niall, it's so weird! and Ash kind of just has to roll her eyes and say something clever and totally creative like nuh-uh, he sounds just like me.

And then Cassidy gets her hands on two concert tickets, plus two VIP backstage passes. So she insists that Ash has to come with her. For some reason she's not exactly surprised at who the concert is for. What she is surprised at, however, is an odd sense of familiarity with one of the boys.
