Disclaimer: I wrote this when I was 13. It's a thinly-veiled How to Train Your Dragon fanfic I wrote in 8th grade. Prepare yourself for overly dramatic characters, a fourteen-year-old narrator, a preoccupation with logistics, and a thorough misunderstanding of the nuances of comic relief. But hey, it's short. Aside from a few typo corrections, this story is largely unedited from the original version and I have no plans to rewrite it.All Rights Reserved

I don't particularly believe it to be, but I'd rather cover myself then not. This book covers the entirety of the first movie closely following the original script and plot. Of course because this is a fan fiction and a re-write, I have also taken creative liberty with the writing. I have added my own characters, obviously changed Hiccup's gender and name, given Hicca a new love interest and, yes, dragons can talk.
