Talon has always been a troublemaker. He is known as the master of rule breaking and ninja of mischief. If there is ever something risk-involving he is usually found right smack in the middle of it wearing his signature smirk. It’s not that Talon resents authority and its regulations; he just can’t help getting a kick out of doing the wrong thing. But Talon has one big problem: he doesn’t know when to stop.
When Talon goes too far and is sent to juvenile prison, he meets a mysterious man with a rusty antique lighter and a funny accent. Little does Talon know that the old lighter has a secret so powerful it could cause mass destruction and even war if placed into the wrong hands.
With one flick of a lighter what could possibly happen? A sexy, stubborn genie girl reluctant to grant any wishes, that’s what could happen. Talon is officially her master now and there are rules and restrictions that must be abided by.
As Talon is hunted by secret organisations and governments, the choices he makes will decide whether or not he will live another day.
What would Talon, a reckless, hotheaded, badass jerk wish for? And the better question, how many rules will the determined genie girl, Sahara, break for a chance to be free?

This is a rewritten version of Golden Boy! It's completely new except for the names of the characters. Everyone has that one thing that they fear the most, that if they ever had to go through it, it would traumatize them. For Elliot, it was having someone break into her house. She's been scared of that ever since watching Michael Myers stalk his niece from outside her window in Halloween, a movie that she shouldn't have watched when she was 8 years old. Elliot's senior year was supposed to be above average, in the sense that it would actually be fun compared to the first three years of high school. It was the last year she was going to spend in her hometown Ardsley, New York, before moving across the country to LA for college. She was going to spend it going to parties with her best friend Camilla, eating fro-yo every day, and prepping for prom and graduation. Elliot would never have guessed how a certain Golden Boy would have a hand in ruining her senior year. The princess, the commoner and the sorcerer
Long ago, in the ancient kingdom of Surasena, lived two. A young princess by the name of Ananya, and a commoner whom was called Imaran. There lived also an evil sorcerer by the name of Balveer, an advisor to the Sultan. This is their story, a classic retelling of the fairy tale Aladdin. Jinn is the more proper term for genie. It can also be spelled djinn which is the Romanized version. I chose to go with the more traditional version. Cover by my dear friend who did it for me. Their art skills are absolutely impeccable! A message to all my readers: This story has many characters that are ignorant, bigoted and downright cruel to our main character. I wanted to have everyone understand that these actions are extreme examples of homophobia, and that, generally, it is far more subtle. For those that are closeted and are afraid to come out, I am here for you and I am sorry you live in an environment where you can't safely be yourself. Know that my heart is with you.
