Note: This story was made a month or so before the Octo Expansion was released so you may notice some changes that differ from the final game-wait what am I talking about? This is a fanfic,not The Cutting Room Floor. Anyway,this is non-canon(obviously) so yeah. This is the story of an Inkling named Four and an Octoling named Eight(kinda generic,I know but I couldn't think of any other names).
Despite Agents 3,4 and 8 being canonically female,I'll make Four and Eight an Inkling Boy and an Octoling Boy. You are free to share my stories,but please:DO NOT CLAIM IT AS YOUR OWN.NO ONE LIKES A THIEF!

She found him mumbling to himself, he's having nightmares, being more claggy to 3 than normal, and swears that she caught a flash of teal in his eye. It couldn't be that bad... till 8 goes missing. The team is on the case to find him but sometime into the search Inklings sharing some of 3's similarities are getting attacked and 3's apartment gets ransacked. It's clear 8 is after 3 and if he finds her, he's not letting her go.Complete

Edit of Feb 14, 2023 This book is DISCONTINUED. It was taken down around 2019? 2020 due to friends and family finding it. I will now be posting everything unedited and unfinished for the sake of not feeling bad about the "talent" that middle school me felt when writing this. I wrote this because I couldn't find a good Splatoon 2 fanfic and decided I'd do it myself, I still use that kind of motivation to write things like music now 💀 Eyyy, so i was playing Squid Splat earlier and felt inspired! She can still turf and fight and do what most inklings do, but what makes her stand out is her colors. Her colors aren't like other inklings you see in Inkopolis. Like Marie and Pearl. Her hair color is white and changes color depending on what she wants and almost always changes her hair style. She also changes eye color constantly. So sometimes no one even recognizes her. She heard of rumors of the old subway station and she's seen another inkling who's told her that he's an agent...agent 4, near what seems to be a sewer?
