Follow this fifth year Slytherin in his quest to protect his friends, represent his school and even falling head over heels for a certain someone along the way. ~Important Information~ Because the story takes place in 80s, some events at Hogwarts may be done differently than the years we are accustomed to. Although I do like to check my facts, some things have been slightly changed. Some events have also been added. This is indeed a love story, however you are also following along in every day life at Hogwarts and the trials of Oliver's life. If you're looking for an explicit and steamy romance novel, this isn't the one. This is a story without Harry Potter, Lily Evans, and many of the original members. They simply do not exist. Threshold - Severus Snape
I'm doing a little rewrite of this story. As much as I enjoy this story, some parts didn't sit well with me as originally written, so I'm doing some changes. I apologize for any inconsistencies in the interim. Enjoy. Professor Severus Snape Romance (mature) and Hogwarts adventure. What if JK Rowling's story of a School of witches and wizards was her first hand account from her own experience in the Ether Realm? Now it's my turn to take my place in that realm... which is one of many different realms accessible through the Threshold. I was chosen for a reason... one of the relatively few to be selected to cross into the Hogwarts Realm. I could live a whole life there, and then return as if nothing happened, at least it would seem to those in my reality. The challenge??? If it's real, then my mission isn't one to be taken lightly, as there are only a limited number of Occasions, and they are real to the Etherworlders... as real as our own reality. How can I let them down knowing that? How can I let 'him' down? He would only have so many chances at a happy ending... and I am bound and determined to be the one who makes that happen. Or maybe I'm just an optimist. What if Professor Snape doesn't even notice me? That doesn't matter. I will still try to save his life. Even if it breaks my heart. This is just a fun take on a fantasy. I haven't actually fantasized this, yet, so I'm just writing it as I do so:). There may even be a 'guest star', but I don't want to give it away too soon:). Her stories were mostly about brave Guardians that had the obligation of protecting the other world. This world was to be called the Portal World. As I grew up in difficult conditions I dismissed all those ideas out of my head. Tales are for children and nothing of it was true. Or so I thought. Until the day the guy I hated the most saved me from imminent death. *** Deep in my being an unbearable anger scattered itself through my body. I clenched my fists. A violent jerk started building up to my vocal cords. I gritted my teeth to keep it under control but in vain my lips began to move. "My life is not an Illusion!" While making a de-aging potion, meant to make the drinker go back by only a few years for a period of time, depending on the size of the frog liver and the color of squid blubber, there was a slight mishap. What is a six year old Harry Potter in the care of a snake supposed to do? Cope without the memories that are slowly fading? Things are slowly falling downwards in a fast spiral.
