A strange man with the personality of an older brother. He wanders the Earth after his short arrival in life to find something that he is missing, and then he finds it - a girl.
Ai Ami struggles in life to feel wanted and loved, only it's harder than she thought it would be. She never imagined her best friends would be of her imagination on the outskirts of her city in Musashino, Tokyo. She was bullied from a young age and struggles to live alone shortly after her parents' passing in an accident, leaving her to find difficulty in her everyday life that was once easy and happy. She starts distancing herself from friends, and tries to spend her time alone, finding ways to leave the world behind and escape to her true friends, ones who would understand, ones who would never betray her.
And then she meets a boy.
With an appearance of features that are similar to her's, he tries to grow close to Ai. However, that is not such a simple task either. Ai has no clue what that boy is hiding behind his glasses, or why he has not yet given her a name. He merely says to call him "Big Brother".
