Going to the Dogs
Years of foster care gave Mattie Carter a smart mouth and too much attitude. She dropped out of school, aged out of the system and grabbed for the freedom. When the dead end jobs dried up, she found herself scared and homeless on some very mean streets. Caught shoplifting food, Mattie is handed to a rescue agency.
