No one ever expects to be rejected. Nonetheless by someone you've never met. I didn't think that it would hurt this bad, especially since he is so cold-hearted and demeaning. I've looked forward all of my life for the moment that my mate would reach out in open arms claiming me as theirs, but no, in vile words that struck like lightning, he rejected me. To hear those words spoken from his mouth embraces endless sadness and despair that I can no longer bear. I long for him, and so does Aurora. He will show remorse for what he has done, I do not deserve this....

"No way in hell are we mates," Cameron spat, his greenish-blue eyes glinting with hatred as he sneered at me. Ignoring the sensation of my heart breaking, I lifted my head, pushing back the tears brimming in my eyes and glared at him, clenching my hands in a fist behind my back as my wolf howled in pain. "Then it's settled. I reject you as my mate Clara Smith. I don't ever want to see you again, you pathetic mute worthless loser," he shot back, walking away before I could punch the shit out of him. 'I'll see you in hell Cameron!' I mentally yelled, flipping him the bird at his retreating back. As soon as he turned the corner, I dropped the smirk on my face and slid down the wall until I was huddled on the floor and letting a solitary tear leak out of my eye as my composure crumbled. ********************************* Clara Smith and Cameron Claw are sworn enemies since the day the accident happened. So when they find out that they're mates, Cameron immediately rejects her. When I turn the corner I see a boy about 20 and am hit with an overpowering smell something like fresh cut wood and autumn leaves. It is amazing. I see the guy turn towards me and duck behind the house I am standing by before he sees me. Nope! Not him! Not happening! I hear footsteps coming towards me and run. Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent. I climb up as quickly as I can and watch the guy approaching. He circles my tree looking around but eventually gives up and goes back towards the houses. "Mate!" My wolf happily purs. "Not him!" I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!"
