In the summer of '68, Ezra Clark moves to a small town in Georgia to live with his aunt and uncle. When he arrives, he is given a small bedroom in a pink house, a Southern dinner, and a job for the summer. The Bruley's strawberry farm was always in need of extra farmhands, and Ezra was in need of extra cash. When he came to Georgia in late May, he wasn't expecting much. But Ezra came to soon realize this would be a summer unlike any other - a summer unforgettable; all because of a girl named Margaret.
