"Watch out.. you just might fall for me."

Hyun-Jae blinked. "Excuse me?"

"You've circled that bench three times," he said, not even looking up from his phone. "Building C is two buildings down that path. Left side."

Her face heated immediately.

"And you just stood there watching me the whole time instead of helping?" she snapped.

He finally looked at her. His eyes were intelligent but unreadable, like he was calculating something she couldn't quite understand. "I assumed you were doing a dramatic performance. You looked pretty into it."

"Wow," she scoffed, brushing past him. "What a gentleman."

"Not trying to be," he replied casually, falling into step beside her. "I'm Namjoon."

"I didn't ask."

"And I didn't need you to," he said, lips twitching slightly like he was fighting a smirk.

She paused at the base of the dorm stairs and turned to glare at him. "You always this charming?"

"Only when I meet lost theater majors who can't read a map."

"I'm not a theater major."

"Really?" he tilted his head, walking backward now as he reached the top step. "You've got main character energy written all over you."

That almost made her smile - almost.
