Her mother was a northsider and her father a serpent, they were high school lovers and ended up giving birth to Rebel and her brother James. There parents split up, her father loyal to the south and her mother to the north, there loyalty broke their love. Rebel was and to her will always be a serpent even though she lives with her mother and her brother with their father. Even though she spent more time on the south side then her own home.
