Rebel is a 16 year old serpent but with a damaged past and home. Her mother was a northsider and her father a serpent, they were high school lovers and ended up giving birth to Rebel and her brother James. There parents split up, her father loyal to the south and her mother to the north, there loyalty broke their love. Rebel was and to her will always be a serpent even though she lives with her mother and her brother with their father. Even though she spent more time on the south side then her own home. She meets new friends and old ones and a secret brother she knew nothing about, however no-one knows about her past except the fact that it was traumatising or the fact that she is badass that is the strongest person both physically and mentally and doesn't need protection. Will all come to light when she is kidnapped the night of her initiation to become Serpent Queen? Will she survive or will those trying to get to Betty hurt the ones she loves so she sacrifices herself?
