To walk along the dimly lit street of fate,
Is to tread, to stumble through the dark.
Hoping that the next streetlight might sedate
This ever present watermark
And as the journey continues on
My heart begins to pound.
The illuminating lights withdrawn
There is not one sound.
Stumbling blindly forward here
And stumbling blindly there,
I am not aware of what is near
Of a light golden and fair.
Around a corner I turn blindly,
And stop in disbelief.
There a lamp shines brightly
Without having a motif
I run to this light which shines
And find myself protected,
In her warm and loving confines.
I have been selected.
And so I waited by the lamp,
And still wait with her today.
I have vowed myself to be her champ
And here forever stay.
So here a lesson has been taught,
A lesson that should not be soon forgot.
When fates dark distraught
Has tied you in a knot
God will bless you with what is sought.

From Within The Shadow
Introduction I started a different walk in life in 2007. I have always jotted down ditties from time to time; the ones in this book came about with a massive change within my life. It appeared sometimes as if I had no control over the flow of words. The first sentence would come through and that would be that until the poem was finished, regardless of the length. I started taking a notebook and pen with me everywhere I went so I could write if I needed to. The last one of the book 'Now' marks the end of an era. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them. Shadows I was walking along the other evening and I noticed my shadow,,, Then I noticed more shadows,,, For each light along the way it cast another shadow, hidden from view then the angle of me walking and the position of the light made it come into view, then go out of view again, sometimes, melting into another part of my shadow,,,, Mind you, they were all the different artificial lights, street, car, security, etc,,, I've only noticed one shadow with the light of the sun,,, Added to Heart Stains (HeartBreak) reading list by WattpadPoetry 07/02/2022💖Tamamlanmış Hikaye

Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. Dear You, This story is about longing. This story is about two people who weren't supposed to collide came together. This story is about the tryst with destiny. What happens when despite all the words that are bestowed, everything was left unsaid. What happens when despite all the trust bestowed, hope was gone? This story is the shortest ballad written down in the longest time. Trying to delay as much as one could bottle up just to avoid the pages turning. It's about the relationship that faded away but just when the memories began to fade someone found the oldest trick in the book, to write. This story is about all the letters that were returned unread, sent to an address which no longer could be found. It's about how two people who meet on a staircase try to embrace each other's true self behind the veil. Relations are always imbalanced and that's the truth that no one talks about, at least on paper. You are told that in relation two must be equal for it to suffice but the truth is that in those relations that suffice there is always one who does more. Then the other person tries to make effort but fails. And when they both stop they become who they were all along; strangers. This wouldn't be like a story that will catch you off guard or knock you off your feet. But by the time you are done, you will be left with compassion and feeling what was felt by him and her, in all the real sense. With the words which are to be savored, and with the gaps to be swallowed too as raw as they are meant to be. She had flowers in her hair and demons in her head. He had cigarettes in his hand, yeah that's all he really had. Sometimes things happen slowly, eventually, gradually yet suddenly for you to realize that it's all over before it ever had a chance to begin and like the time all those moments that pass, the stories usually go and come around where it all started.
