Tessa is in 8th grade and a star student. There is a new boy at school that she has her eye on and it seems like he is the same with her. Meanwhile, Tessa has been left without a clue as to what has happened to her parents after they are murdered. She is confused as to who her parents really were. Did she know them at all. And how about the boy?

Life was never normal for Victoria but it got significantly more confusing after her parents sudden death when she got sent to live at a college at the age of fourteen. Now she is 18 and is finding that she isn't sure the college is so safe anymore. There might not truly be a safe space anywhere for her. As I leave, the cold British wind greets me. I zip up my sweater, and start walking home. Thanks to my parents, I don't have a car. "You're too irresponsible for a car, Courtney. -Blake- Rose stands not too far in front of the ring looking at me, her face is pale and my gut twists in ways it never has. She shouldn't be here, why the hell is she here?
