A reader insert from the game, "Detroit: Become Human." I've been wanting to do this for some time, but I haven't had the time nor courage. I hope you all will enjoy this reader insert book. Please excuse me if these do not make sense, if I make any mistakes, or if the characters are acting out of character themselves. I must add, these stories are one-shots!

This story is a Detroit: Become Human fanfiction. The main character is a WR700 android, who is a parks and streets maintenance worker. I would like to tell a story from the point of view of a very average android and how this android sees the uprising of its kind. It is written in first person singular. You've always had an interest in androids ever since you were a child. The very thought that technology could create an intelligent life-form that looked just like a human always fascinated you. You quickly became a high ranking student, at one of the top universities for Android studies. To further your training, you were sent for work experience at Detroit City Police Department, and paired up with Lieutenant Anderson and an android named Connor. As you continue to work alongside Hank and Connor, you soon begin to learn things about androids you never noticed before. You also realize that you are finding yourself falling in love with the one person you are not supposed to fall in love with. 'Purple Hearts' puts a unique spin on the events of Detroit Become Human, showing the story of what is behind the scenes, the true feelings of androids, and the lives they struggle to barely survive on the streets. Throughout the story, you slowly begin to see the world in a different light, and through that, you also learn what it means to become human. Who can you really trust when the humans seem more evil than the androids do? The lines blur between the good and the bad; the human, and the android. --- Genres of drama, action, and romance. It follows the direction of the main plot of Detroit Become Human, but I have added various sub plot lines and characters unique to this fanfiction. There is foul language in this story. You're a 25 year old woman and you've been living in Detroit ever since you were born. It's been 7 years since you graduated from high school, but you didn't go to college and you've been studying on your own to become an entrepreneur since it's your dream to own a business at a cafe. It's also been a year since the android rebellion has been going on and the deviants have won the war. Since the androids are free, some people are starting to become supportive of them, including you, but some people are still not happy about the androids being free. One day, Markus meets you at the cafe and you two become friends. When you and Markus become closer, you two start to fall in love and you become a couple. (I don't know what else to put for the description, so this is all I can think of. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the story! I love you all! 💙✨
