Hello! Here is my self made guide for what I think most of you(who are participating in The Storm) should do, pack, and plan!
Please keep in mind that I am not perfect, so there may be errors, things that I've missed or things I've forgotten about. I will make a request page on what I should write about though!!

Every three years a group of two-hundred teens get sent to Earth. After spending two years on Earth, you can choose to go back onto the Ark or to stay on Earth. Most don't survive the first week. They get to either join a Clan, create a new Clan or go solo. If your name is called out, you have to go down. You have no choice. Almost everyone joins a Clan or makes a new Clan. Nobody goes solo, unless you absolutely have to. Or if no Clan accepts you. Every animal on Earth wants to kill humans, they have all mutated after the Nuclear War, all the ones that survived, and are out for human flesh and blood. Bastien Water's name gets called out during the Choosing and he has to try to survive on Earth. While his family grieves thinking that Bastien won't survive but he's out to prove them wrong. Bastien meets new people, makes some friends and make some enemies. Bastien has to face many challenges to survive on Earth. Will he be able to do it? Creator: Friend or Foe?
This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental. So we all know that Alpha rejects weak mates and stuff like that. But, my question to you is what if the "weak" mate was actually a stronger mate than she/he seemed? Well, that is basically what had happened to me, Rylan Reece. My mate, Cooper Pierce, wanted to reject me, but I did it first. The main reason that he wanted to reject me was because he, and others, thought that I had killed my parents. That was not the case, but no one believed me because I was covered in their blood at the time of their death.
