It took barely over a month for the epidemic to spread across the globe.
Contrary to belief, the world didn't end with a bang and neither did it go quietly.
No.
It ended one scream at a time.
A little more than a year has passed since the outbreak swept over the planet and annihilated a good portion of the living.
Perri was one of the lucky ones who managed to evacuate with the military escorted buses in those early days of the spread.
But, that luck didn't last.
After one too many tragedies, she had decided to finally leave the, so called, "safe zone".
With her main objective being the search for her best friend, she finds more than she bargained for.
Her blood is death.
Her blood is virulent.

When you are infected with the virus, there are four stages. 1) Your fever will shoot up and everything will become intensified on a maximum level. You'll lose grip on what's reality and what's illusion. 2) You'll start to slowly fall down the rabbit hole, forgetting the past and everything and everyone that you knew. 3) You face your imminent death. 4) You wake up with a pressing hunger for the living. Erin who retired from the military after the war is now just another traveler waiting for her flight for vacation in Aerodome until the world outside suddenly begins to fall apart. An unknown virus is spreading and ravaged the central city of Karnas that managed to reach Velis, Erin is now forced into a fight for survival. She ventures into the city of Velis and it's occupied surroundings. The more of the destruction caused by this unknown virus unfolds before her and this is what seems to be the start of a second war not with just humans but something more frightening and deadly. What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. The Touch of Infection
Carisa's been running for her life the past two years. Loosing her loved ones and anyone she grows close to. The apocalypse was caused by an alien raise coming to earth and proclaiming they'll fix the planet. Their way to 'fix' it being destroying humanity with a plague. However they didn't expect the human body to be as persistent as it is, the infection they spread mutating and making humans reanimate with a hunger for flesh. They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry.
