The Unbreakable Heart

The pair of oddballs had known each other for over ten years. The two have always been inseperable. He gets her out of trouble, she gets him into trouble; its a balancing process. They'd grown to know and love each other more than just ordinary human love. Now they've loved just a little too much. The passion burns just a little too brightly. They've come to the point where they couldn't live without each other. If one was lost, the other would break. The other would shatter, never to be put back together. A part of them would leave, the best part. The part that feels passionately and burns furiously. Imagine a person who feels nothing, who shuts themself off, and shelters themself from the world so much, that they seem almost like a zombie. That they emotionally died.
