Though she's the first woman to become a captain, Sarah Dreamstead must begin her true journey to command the strongest caravan in the Nine Seas. Mysteries and dangers have plagued her way. Jayden has gone missing, and his disappearance follows the arrival of Sarah's deadliest enemy. A masked assassin has emerged from the shadows, and intends to kill the highest ranking members of the Royal family. But after someone close to Sarah is murdered, Charlotte and Cookie's allegiance to the suspects begins to tear their caravan apart. Now marked as deserters, the two must prove the innocence of a man close to their heart, before Sarah's blind rage takes the light from his eyes. Charlotte's journey will take them through the jungle islands of the Green Sea, and in the direct path of the Pirate Queen and her deadly fleet. Caravan captains, the Magi, and the ruthless Iron Men will aid Sarah to find her mutinous friends. And although the captain's mind is clear on what needs to be done...her heart might be too torn to do it. This novel contains adult themes, and depicts violence that may be unsuitable for those under the age of 17.

Pallu, at seventeen, is exhausted from training as a warrior and as one of the Queen's elite White Guard, a group of telekinetics who protect the kingdom from evil mages. Already, she has traveled and battled more than most grown men. What she needs is a holiday, but naturally that holiday can't go without the king's being assassinated, her father nearly dying, her own life being threatened, and oh, she can suddenly hear a voice in her head. So much for holidays. Pallu returns home to meet this voice who turns out to be Rumah, a young woman who shares an uncanny resemblance to Pallu. Together these new friends must fight to save their kingdom from the chaos and destruction of traitorous mages. But at what cost? ***I've finally gotten all the chapters loaded! I hope you enjoy!*** As of 7/12/2020, I've updated/revised chapters 3 & 4. As always, I covet your comments. This is one of my older novels (over ten years old) that I stumbled across and wanted to share.
