Annabelle Blake is 17 and has no friends or family unless you count her abusive mom. She is mute because she scared to tell anyone about her mom. Annabelle suffers from anxiety and depression and there is no way to help because she can't tell anyone so she just lets it happen. She no longer believes in love. She knows sign language to communicate with the teachers who were willing to learn it. She can play guitar since she learned it from her dad when he was alive. Zander Black is 17 and is in a gang, he is actually the leader. He lost his family when he was 10 but considers his gang as his family. He has PTSD but no one knows. He is not a player and is waiting for his princess, who he has not met yet. He knows 3 language- Spanish, Italian, and Sign- that he needs to know. He is always cold when not talking to his gang since he doesn't have a lot of trust. What happens when these two meet?

"Damn it, Mason, you can't fix me. I'm not some used car that needs an oil change." I'm standing at the edge of my driveway. If I take one step towards that house, then I go back to my life. The life I've had since Mason left. Since he abandoned me. If I turn around. If I take one second to look into his eyes. I don't think I'll be able to resist throwing myself in his arms. "I'm shattered, Mason. Like a dusty vase that's been ignored for too long." "You know the best thing about broken vases, Mel? You just need three things to make them whole." I decide to go along with his speech. "Faith, trust, and pixie dust?" I muse. "Tape, glue, and someone willing to fix it. And I'm right here, Mel."
