After a woman is found dead in the outskirts of Detriot, the case is left in the hands of a seasoned investigator and a rookie detective. As Remi struggles to co-operate with her new partner, they find the case has more to it than it seems. Names and places that don't add up, and at the center of it all, a girl who can barely remember her first name. As the days go by and her memories begin to resurface, Valencia finds that her life has more to it than it seems, filled with people whose intentions seem more obscure than their words reveal.
