A 15-year-old girl by the name of Rose Drazen has a mental disease called “Locidia”. One day, she wakes up and is strapped down to a bed in a hospital room. The doctor tells her that she has Locidia, a rare mental disease where one’s imagination creates an alternative life and persona for themselves, which they are convinced is their real life. In Rose’s imagination, she is a 15-year-old girl who is running from the police and her parents. She committed a crime when she was 13 and accidentally and indirectly killed an innocent man. Though she regrets her crime, she is running from the Police with a group of friends and her sister, avoiding turning herself in and/or being caught and taken into custody. Rose slips in and out of reality and the life of her imagination and needs to overcome many obstacles to keep her friends, sister, and self alive.
