I felt the soft wind blow through my long blonde hair as I watched Emily sitting across from me on the boat looking out at the soft waves. We were in the ocean, somewhere near the coast of Peru, just sitting and watching the beautiful sun. I closed my eyes and started to lay back; enjoying the suns heat. I yawned and started to sleep when I felt a sharp pain in my heart. I screamed and that instant the boat started to fill up with water. I couldn't stand up to look at Emily! "What's going on ", I scream at her! She tells me to calm but I can't. The water is rising quickly and is now at my chest. I grab a fistful of hair and scream! "What do I do?" "Just calm down!" "Emily I can't!!" "Trust me, Mariel, I know exactly what you're going through just calm down!" By now the water is by my chin and I am crying. I could not stop... I know I'm not crying because of the water ...it's something else... something more serious... But I don't know what ... I'm not able to control my emotions. "Mariel jump," I heard Emily yell. I try to move my feet, but I can't... I can't move... I'm stuck... my body is frozen! I cannot physically move. The realization startles me and my tears stop but, just then Emily grabs me and hurls me over her shoulder and then I just remember waking up on the beach and seeing Emily crying. That was something a person never expects; their parent to do. ..cry. Later I walked into the shower and noticed a mark on my chest... It was a black heart... I asked Emily about it but she does not know what it is. The next day we left our house in Peru and never went back. 8 years later ...

"We mean how did your wounds heal so quickly?" Vincent replied. "Well to get an answer you will have to catch me first." I said running off letting my wolf take over once again, Natalie shifts into my wolf and takes off.
