Abyss narrowed his fiery red eyes. "A girl? Are you sure, Ariel?" The smaller demon nodded. "Yes, my Lord. A girl. But she possesses a rare gift, my Lord. Something we should we wary of." Ariel could feel the Demon of Chaos glaring down at her. She was hardly larger than a grown female human, while he was barely smaller than Earth himself!
Abyss scooped the Demon historian up in his massive, clawed hands. "What gift?" He growled. As the King of Hell, he never liked it when something got in his way of causing destruction in the Heavens and Earth. "My Lord, please have mercy unto me. The girl- she is a Defier."All Rights Reserved

After Dante torments Ariel, the two begin an unlikely friendship. Can the love between this angel and demon survive, and maybe even change the fate of the Earth? ~~~ Ariel is an adventurous angel who loves spending time on Earth. Although he should fear Dante, he's trusting and quick to forgive after Dante torments him. He hates having to hide his relationship with Dante from his friends in Heaven. Dante is a demon who feels out of place in Hell. His father Lucifer is hard on him, and he spends every second he can on Earth. He wants something different, and Ariel is different. Although demons can't love, what he feels for Ariel seems a lot like love. In this angel/demon romance, God is a woman and all the characters in Heaven and Hell love whoever they want. Some characters and settings were inspired by real demons or angels, or by mythology.

The woman who read my paper seems to be able to keep track and calls out the highest bidder. "Do I hear 65000?" Less voices shootout but they're still too many that I can't pick out. I'm being sold? She could turn into a wolf at will, she was faster, stronger than humans, she had fast healing abilities, and it was much easier for her to find her soulmate- her mate- than it was for humans.
