I felt the smoke entering my system; burning my lungs and leaving me breathless. I know I should be fighting it. After all, it’s in our nature as human beings. The impulse of survival. But somehow, after witnessing it all, I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. So I laid there; letting it overtake me, as I slowly drifted into darkness. Camilla Evans has experienced loss and tragedy. After loosing her mother in an unfortunate event, she finds herself unable to go back to the way she used to be. So she is sent to the only place that can help her get rid of her personal demons: Saint Jude's Rehabilitation Center. But maybe, just maybe, Saint Jude's may not only help her let go of the past, but learn how to embrace the future in the form of a pair of dark green eyes.

Even though it's been years, Mackenzie Hart is still haunted by her past. She was a good student, with a loving family, great friends, and a cute boyfriend. Then something happened that changed all of that. Mackenzie was raped. Her boyfriend, Brandon, couldn't take the pressure of everyone teasing him and thinking he was the rapist, so he broke up with her. Mackenzie thought her life was over. She was all alone, with no one to love her or help her through the depressing time. Then she met an old woman named Clara, who told her about the Greatest Love. Mackenzie wasn't sure if she believed everything the old woman was telling her, but she liked the company, so she kept meeting with her. It turned out, Clara had even more surprises than the truth about Jesus. But you'll have to read and find out!
